WHERE: 1122 S. Greenfield, Mesa, Arizona 85206 - main conference room or at Lake Pleasant.

TIME: All scuba club events at The Scuba Shop start at 5:00pm to 7:00pm. You and your friends are welcome. Come hungry because we start cooking at 5pm! Times may vary for club events taking place at Lake Pleasant- contact staff for details.

COST: For only $10.00 come and hang out and enjoy a great time with our family of divers! This includes the cost of the food and drinks, as well as, the guest speakers, their materials for you and the hands on clinics that may be offered in the pool. Lake Pleasant dives are subject to additional fees for rental gear and transportation.

WHO: Everyone is welcome at The Scuba Shop. Whether you are just beginning the life long adventures of scuba diving or you have 100+ dives under your belt - we have a place for you. WHY: We want to give back to our local dive community. We believe that keeping our valley divers up to date on the latest scuba diving techniques and skills will produce safer divers. These are fun events are designed to educate while also getting to know new people in the Greater Phoenix area that love to dive.

WHAT HAPPENS AT THE CLUB EVENTS: We have a guest speaker scheduled to speak at the shop and offer a free training sessions to all of our members and guests. A variety of training topics are covered and may include:

• Divers Lessons Learned – The Tricks-of-the-Trade / Pros & Cons
• Travel Specialists – Finding deals on Exclusive Dive Destinations
• Marine Biologists – How to identify the marine life effectively
• First Aid Review – How to handle water related injuries
• Underwater Skills Reviews – Mastering problem solving techniques
• Underwater Communication – Strategies for effective team signaling
• Underwater Photography - Practice taking better underwater pictures.
• Drysuit Clinic - Certified divers practice diving in a drysuit in the pool.
• Scuba Travel Destinations - Beautiful divesites of the world. Let's go dive together!
